DESIGNER

We have a challenging opportunity for a talented designer to join our team at Vivienne Westwood Ltd. You must be Illustrator and Photoshop literate, with good organisational skills. This is a superb opportunity to join a luxury and successful brand.

The job will entail:

-Picture research for prints and t-shirt prints, as well as style ideas, techniques and details

-Providing design and proposing styles for the season under work

-Copying patterns when necessary

-Creating new designs when needed or amending new artwork and graphics

-Prepare sample request and artwork to be sent to the production company

-Generally managing everything and keeping track of deadlines

Skills and experience:

-Design or fashion related qualifications

-Understanding of garment construction, fabrics and print.

-Ability to design across both graphic and garments

-Understanding of the critical path with the ability to work to seasonal deadlines.

-Experience working within a team

-Skills on Photoshop and Illustrator

The successful Designer will be responsible for trend and research, demonstrating commercial awareness and understanding of shape, colour, fabric and print. Bring new and exciting ranges that maintain our leading edge and have the initiative when appropriate to identify new product opportunities.  Hours and days of work will need to be flexible and role requires an element of international travel and regular store visits.

WEB DESIGNER/ DEVELOPER

We are currently searching for an experienced web designer / developer to join our digital marketing team.

The ideal candidate will produce innovative and creative digital solutions for the brand’s online marketing.

You will be required to work across multiple projects including graphic design, web design, mobile web, applications and social media. This will include routine website maintenance, hosting changes, site updates and various digital projects.

Essential Skills & Experience:

-     PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Flash

-     Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver)

-     CMS Experience

-     Familiarity with Final Cut (or similar) and basic video editing skills

-     Knowledge of SEO

The job is based in our London head office.

The Office Manager will undertake administrative duties according to the everyday tasks of this busy fashion house office, whilst managing the environmental and social impacts of its operations. 

 Responsibilities will include:

- Create and develop the office sustainability strategy. 

- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and set targets to measure and monitor progress around the office sustainability strategy. 

- Engage employees in the implementation process, using effective communication methods to create positive behaviour change. 

- Ensure continued improvement in environmental practice (including, for example, reducing resource and energy use, recycling). 

- Keep up to date with best practice in sustainable business. 

- With commercial acumen, undertake cost-benefit analyses of potential sustainability projects and present those requiring time and financial investment to senior management. 

Requirements:

 - This role will suit a person who is extremely passionate about the role that small but tangible changes can play in moving sustainable development forward. 

 - Previous office management and administration experience is essential. 

 - A relevant degree is desirable. 

 - Up to 3 years relevant work experience is desirable. 

 - A broad knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing business today including environmental, social and governance issues. 

 - The successful candidate will have highly developed organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. 

 - Ability to work effectively without direct supervision. 

 - Excellent organisational and project management skills. 

 - High attention to detail and an aptitude for making processes more efficient. 

 - Strong verbal communication skills. 

 - Strong written ability, editing and proof-reading ability.
